Inspired or Just Bored

So, I’ve officially been an adult for a week and four days and it has yet to really sink in. Don’t get me wrong for all the times I said I was ready to graduate and get the hell out of Newark, DE… I meant it. But to say I don’t miss it already would be a lie. Now let’s get this straight…. I do NOT miss; the frat brothers, the slobs who give girls a bad name, the slobs who are into frat brothers, and I especially do not miss that house on the end of Delaware Avenue where they would move their living room couch to the front yard to display to the world how much they drink.

Now with that childish rant out of the way, the things I do miss (for privacy measures I have used nicknames to protect the identity of those mentioned); lil waynes’ public flatulations ‘farts’ (trust me they are SBDs), benedetto’s computer on the living room floor, benedetto’s clothes on the living room floor… well lets just say everything benedetto owned was at some point on the living room floor, I am also going to miss the EICs influence of music over me along with his brutal honesty, and last but not least I am going to miss everything having to do with that group of friends. While all other friendships made over the past 4 years are going to fade and probably fade within the first month of graduation, I can easily say that these few close friends that I have lived with for 4 years… wait it was only 3 and a half… have become my best friends. And for those of you who know I have been known to shed a tear, so lets just say I might sprung a small leak while writing these last few lines. But hey this is Deebs in Real Life.

Just a quick update on work before I rap this up. I am so-called “Protecting this House” for the summer in Balitmore, MD. For those who gave me shit on the building we thought was UA… we were wrong. The building I am in is pretty fantastic. It is bigger than I ever thought it would be and every time I get up from my hallway desk I feel like a mouse looking for that piece of cheese in the maze. I am happy to say I like working there, but also sad to say that a guaranteed full position is not in the future. There is a possibility of jobs opening up but it’s all up in the air. So let’s just say my life is not quite set just yet, and I am nervous to see what the end of summer will bring.

PS… This is my first ever blog post so bear or bare with me.  GOOD NOIGGGHTTT.
